CrossFit is for everyone. From 3 to 103, anyone can benefit and enjoy the experience. No matter what your goal is, we will do our utmost to make sure you get there. This is a reminder that health and wellness is not a quick fix, it is a lifestyle. And we are here to help and guide you to becoming the best version of yourself.

  

CrossFit Journal notes that the workouts are so effective because of their emphasis on the elements of load, distance and speed, which help participants develop high levels of power. With professional guidance and care, we facilitate an environment where each member is able to develop their strength and speed at a safe rate.

Our why is to make exercise fun. Our why is to welcome everyone into our facility and make them feel like we are a home away from home. Our why is for people not to feel afraid to ask questions, or feel judged. We aren’t looking for elite athletes to train. We are open to anyone and everyone who just wants to feel better, be better, live better and challenge themselves. Our ‘Why’ is to help guide you to be the best version of yourself.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
WHERE DO I START?

Do you need to be fit? No. CrossFit is the program that will get you in shape. No matter what your current fitness level is, you can start CrossFit. As you become fitter, workouts will become more challenging. Every workout is designed to help you succeed, improve fitness and move you toward your goals.

 

Your CrossFit journey will begin with Onramp. Onramp is two sessions that teaches you the basics and assesses your fitness level so that when you walk into your first session, you can do so confidently. Once the two sessions are complete and the coach is confident that you have grasped the concept, you will be allowed to join the classes.

Training should be the best part of your day. Consistency is key and by making training easy to prioritise in your day, you make it easy to maintain.

We offer app based/online booking for the most beneficial and convenient class experience.  

Life happens, we get it.  We don’t do set contracts but rather we work month to month and don’t tie you down for years at a time.  

Our box is easily accessible from the m13 whether you are coming from up or down the hill and the beautiful premises Gillitts CrossFit was built on also boasts trail running facilities for those workouts and warm-ups that call for running. No more boring 100m laps.

This is not your typical workout experience,  from start to finish you have a coach with you, running the class, watching your form, correcting you and motivating you.  No more wondering around not knowing what to do.

No we do not. However, we are working towards becoming Vitality accredited. Feature will be coming soon. 

Yes, however you would need to join the on-ramp class first. If you find that you don’t enjoy it you would just pay for the class attended.

Yes we do. First one is free, thereafter R100 a drop in.

Yes, of course. All workouts are scalable and coaches are equipped to assist to work around those injuries.

Firstly, no we are not a cult. Our members love CrossFit mostly because we are community based,  everyone cheers everyone on and supports each other,  workouts are never boring and constantly change.

No not at all. Wear what you feel comfortable in, however we cannot be held responsible for future CrossFit clothing and shoe addictions 😉

No, we follow a very specific form of programming. Every session is planned and unique.

Yes. Our coaches all hold valid CrossFit training qualifications.
